PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
September 2002 – May 2003 Coordinator of the working group in a study on obesity, in collaboration with the Department of Public Health at Marmara University entitled: “Factors and influences on the occurrence of obesity in children 6-10 years in some of Istanbul schools”.
December 2003 – May 2004 Participated in a study organized by the Department of Physiology at Marmara University: ‘Colitis – induced by oxidative damage to the colon and skeletal muscle is improved by regular exercise. The study was published in several prestigious journals of physiology, including Experimental Physiology (Art reference: Experimental Physiology 91.5 pp 897-906 DOI: 10.1113 / expphysiol.2006.034439). The study was also presented in: 2004 APS Intersociety Meeting: The Integrative Biology of Exercise October 6-9, 2004 — Hilton Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas /
USA. Currently the study can be found on the PubMed website, which is the reference of the most prestigious medical studies.
01 Sept.2006 – 30 Oct.2006 Personal studies on the state of Primary Service and Public Health at ISSH Shkodra by analyzing all registers of this institution. The results were presented to the Department of Public Health of Marmara University.
